Liverpool completes league double over Manchester City with a 2-0 victory

On February 24th, in Round 26 of the English Premier League, Manchester City hosted Liverpool at home.



In the first half, Mohamed Salah scored with a deflected low shot off Nathan Aké from a corner kick routine. Omar Marmoush found the net with a powerful shot, but the goal was ruled offside. Later, Salah assisted Dominik Szoboszlai, who slotted the ball into the net.



In the second half, Curtis Jones tapped the ball into an empty net, but the goal was disallowed for offside.



Final score: Manchester City 0-2 Liverpool.
