Inter Milan Join Race for Brandt as Salary Demands Complicate Transfer; Barcelona, Atletico & MLS Also in the Mix

According to German outlet Fussballdaten, Inter Milan have also entered the race to sign Brandt, but issues surrounding commission fees and salary remain major obstacles.
The report states that Inter are leveraging their extensive experience in signing free agents to evaluate the deal, aiming to strengthen their midfield by pairing Brandt with Çalhanoğlu.
Interest is also emerging from Spain, with Barcelona monitoring the situation, while Atletico Madrid view him as a technically gifted player well-suited to Diego Simeone’s tactical system.
In addition, Major League Soccer has made an approach, with FC Cincinnati prepared to offer a lucrative contract in an attempt to turn Brandt into a marquee star of the league — an option the player will need to carefully consider.
In terms of salary, Brandt’s representatives are expected to demand a signing bonus of €10–15 million, along with an annual salary exceeding the €12 million (including bonuses) he currently earns at Borussia Dortmund.
