The 2025/2026 BRI Super League season has highlighted the growing competition among goalkeepers, with both local and foreign players delivering impressive performances. The increasing number of imported goalkeepers has made it more difficult for Indonesian keepers to secure regular playing time, forcing many local talents into backup roles or moves to lower divisions.

Among the standout performers this season is Teja Paku Alam, who has enjoyed a remarkable comeback with Persib Bandung.
