England national football team Bring Custom Mattresses and Cooling Pillows to Boost Sleep Quality for the World Cup

According to The Sun, after complaints that the mattresses at England national football team’s World Cup base hotel in Kansas City were unbearably hard, the The Football Association has decided to provide the squad with custom mattress toppers and pillows to ensure high-quality sleep throughout the tournament.
The team hotel in Kansas has reportedly received a wave of negative reviews, with guests criticizing the rock-hard beds and pillows, while also complaining that the walls are so thin they can hear noise from neighboring rooms. Known for his meticulous management style, Thomas Tuchel has hired sleep science specialists to help the squad prepare for next month’s World Cup, ensuring key players such as Harry Kane can get optimal rest between matches.
The England squad will reportedly bring their own comfortable bedding, blankets, and sleep aids to help players recover quickly, even when dealing with late-night kickoffs and hot, humid conditions. Each player will receive a personalized sleep kit containing a specially designed soft mattress topper — a lightweight foam layer intended to significantly soften overly firm beds.
The team will also use specially designed cooling gel pillows to help players regulate body temperature and sleep comfortably in the intense heat and humidity expected during the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Every pillow and mattress topper will be customized according to each player’s body type, weight, and sleeping position.
Members of the Three Lions squad have additionally been advised to bring their own familiar blankets to recreate the feel of sleeping at home, including preferred thickness, texture, and comfort, in order to reduce discomfort while staying abroad.
