Arema FC Part Ways with Star Striker Dalberto After Contract Talks Break Down

Arema FC has officially confirmed the departure of striker Dalberto Luan Bello following the expiration of his contract on June 10, 2026. The club had initially hoped to extend his stay, but negotiations ultimately failed to produce an agreement.
The breakdown in talks was mainly linked to financial differences, as the player’s demands exceeded what the club was willing to commit. As a result, management decided to end discussions and move forward without renewing his contract for the 2026/2027 season.
Dalberto leaves behind a strong legacy at the club, having played a crucial role over the past two seasons. During his time with Arema FC, he consistently delivered goals and became one of the team’s most influential attacking players in domestic competition.
Across 61 appearances, the Brazilian striker scored 34 goals and also helped the team secure the 2024 President’s Cup title in his debut season. His transformation into a prolific scorer marked a significant rise in performance compared to his earlier stint at Madura United.
With his contract now concluded, interest from other clubs has already begun to emerge, including reports of potential moves abroad. Arema FC acknowledged the speculation surrounding his future while preparing to adjust their squad ahead of the new season without their leading forward.
