Swedish media: World Cup bonus revealed, players expected to receive 200,000–300,000 SEK

According to Swedish media reports, the World Cup bonus for Sweden’s national team has become a recent topic of discussion within the squad. How much do Swedish players earn from the World Cup? This question was raised in a recent episode of the Inside Blågult podcast.
Daniel Kristoffersson said on the podcast: “The negotiations went quite smoothly, without any complications.”
The World Cup bonus has been a recurring topic surrounding the Swedish national team during this tournament. According to Swedish media reports, the players are not particularly focused on the exact amount.
Transfer expert Daniel Kristoffersson also stated on Inside Blågult: “Each player will receive around 200,000 to 300,000 Swedish kronor. In the context of qualifying for the World Cup, that is not a huge amount of money.”
It is reported that Sweden’s national team players will share 15% to 20% of the Swedish Football Association’s net World Cup revenue.
Kristoffersson added: “Players do not earn big money from this. And it will not significantly affect the financial situation of the football association.”
