Arema FC Complete Squad Revamp with Triple Brazilian Signing
Arema FC have wrapped up their foreign transfer business for the 2026/27 season by unveiling three new Brazilian players in a single day. The arrivals of Careca, Marcos Vinicius Silvestre Gaspar, and Gustavo Henrique Rodrigues underline the club's ambition to build a stronger squad ahead of the new Liga 1 campaign.
The first addition is attacking midfielder Careca, who brings valuable experience from spells in Brazil, South Korea, and the Malaysian Super League. The club believes his creativity and composure in the final third will add a new dimension to Arema's attacking play throughout the season.
Marcos Vinicius Silvestre Gaspar joins as a versatile forward capable of operating in multiple attacking positions. His pace and direct style are expected to provide greater flexibility in the final third while fitting naturally into head coach Marcos Santos' tactical approach.
Leading the line will be striker Gustavo Henrique Rodrigues, whose international experience includes playing in Vietnam. His finishing ability and movement inside the penalty area are seen as key qualities that could strengthen Arema's goal-scoring threat in the upcoming campaign.
With the arrival of three Brazilian recruits, Arema FC have signaled their determination to compete at the highest level in Liga 1 next season. The club now hopes the new signings, combined with the passionate backing of Aremania, will help deliver a successful 2026/27 season.
