PSIM Yogyakarta Part Ways with Tajik Midfielder Rakhmatsho Rakhmatzoda

PSIM Yogyakarta have officially confirmed the departure of Tajikistan midfielder Rakhmatsho Rakhmatzoda following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. The young playmaker leaves after playing a significant role during his time with the club.

Rakhmatzoda featured in 24 of PSIM's 34 matches, scoring an important goal while accumulating nearly 2,000 minutes on the pitch. His consistent performances made him one of the team's regular contributors throughout the campaign.

The midfielder also impressed with his passing ability, completing more than 900 successful passes at a high accuracy rate. In addition to controlling possession, he regularly supported the attack by creating chances and testing opposing goalkeepers.

His influence extended beyond offensive play, as he delivered solid defensive contributions through tackles, interceptions, and crucial recoveries. That all-around ability made him a dependable presence in the heart of the midfield.

Despite his strong performances, PSIM decided not to extend his contract after completing their squad evaluation for the 2026/27 season. The club expressed gratitude for his commitment and wished him success as he begins the next chapter of his professional career.
