Indonesia Reveal Final AFF Cup 2026 Squad as Herdman Places Faith in Key Stars
Indonesia have officially announced their final squad for the 2026 AFF Cup, with head coach John Herdman selecting a balanced roster after the team's training camp. The Garuda side will compete in Group A alongside Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, and Timor-Leste, with experienced names such as Jordi Amat, Sandy Walsh, Thom Haye, Ivar Jenner, Marselino Ferdinan, and Marc Klok included to strengthen every area of the pitch. Goalkeeping duties will be handled by Nadeo Argawinata, Muhammad Riyandi, and Cahya Supriadi, while the defensive unit features a mix of established internationals and emerging talents.
The attacking lineup also offers plenty of excitement, as Mitchell Baker earns a place alongside Egy Maulana Vikri, Saddil Ramdani, Ragnar Oratmangoen, Beckham Putra, Jens Raven, and Rizky Eka Pratama. Indonesia will begin their AFF Cup 2026 campaign on July 27, taking on Cambodia at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor. With a squad blending experience and youth, Herdman will be aiming to guide the Garuda to a strong start and challenge for the regional title.
