Arsenal Explore Surprise Move for Vinicius Junior as Real Madrid Contract Talks Stall
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the situation of Vinicius Junior as uncertainty surrounds the Brazilian star’s future at Real Madrid. With only 12 months remaining on his current contract and no renewal agreement in place, the Premier League club is assessing the possibility of making a move.
The 26-year-old winger could become a free agent next year if Real Madrid fail to secure a new deal. Although formal negotiations between the two clubs have not yet begun, Arsenal’s interest has progressed internally and is viewed as a potential long-term opportunity.
Vinicius is not the only player on Arsenal’s transfer radar. The North London side are also keeping a close watch on Yan Diomande, a highly rated prospect who has attracted strong interest from Real Madrid. Reports suggest RB Leipzig have already rejected an £85 million offer for the player, matching a previous bid from Liverpool.
Arsenal have also explored several other attacking options during the transfer window. Their pursuit of Morgan Rogers ended after Chelsea completed a deal worth £117 million, while the Gunners were only prepared to value the England international at around £80 million. Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola, Mika Godts, and Kerim Alajbegovic remain among the young talents being monitored.
With multiple targets under consideration, Arsenal continue to evaluate ways to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. While any move for Vinicius Junior is still at an early stage, the Brazilian’s unresolved contract situation has created an intriguing opportunity that the club is watching closely.
