Bhayangkara FC Strengthens Defense With the Signing of George Brown
Bhayangkara FC has officially added right-back George Brown to its squad ahead of the 2026/27 BRI Super League season. The club confirmed the signing through its official social media channels, introducing the 27-year-old defender as one of its new additions to reinforce the backline.
Although the transfer has been finalized, Bhayangkara FC has not disclosed the length of Brown's contract. The Lampung-based club views the experienced full-back as an important piece in its plans for the upcoming campaign as it aims to build a more competitive squad.
Brown, who has English heritage and was born in London, began his football journey with Ashland Eagles in the United States before moving to Indonesia. His first club in the country was Persebaya Surabaya, where he spent around a season and a half developing his career in Indonesian football.
During his time with Persebaya, Brown also gained additional experience through a loan spell at Persipal Palu in the second half of the 2023/24 season. He later joined Persita Tangerang at the start of the 2024/25 campaign before continuing his career with PSBS Biak the following season.
At PSBS Biak, Brown made 14 league appearances and accumulated 739 minutes of playing time during the 2025/26 season. His consistent performances earned him another opportunity in the top flight, with Bhayangkara FC hoping his experience across several Indonesian clubs will strengthen the team's defensive unit in the upcoming season.
