Bhayangkara FC Sign Former River Plate and Valencia Defender Kevin Sibille

Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC have strengthened their defense ahead of the 2026/27 season by signing Argentine centre-back Kevin Sibille. The 27-year-old defender has been introduced as a new addition to The Guardian, with the club expecting his experience to add greater stability to their back line.

Sibille developed his footballing skills at the prestigious River Plate academy in Argentina and eventually made his way into the club's senior setup. His early development at one of South America's most respected football institutions provided him with a strong foundation before he moved to Europe in search of further opportunities.

During his time in Spain, Sibille represented several clubs, including Valencia Mestalla, CD Castellon, Atletico Baleares and Ponferradina. His career later took him to India, where he joined East Bengal for the 2025/26 season. Although he made only seven appearances, he was part of the squad that went on to win the Indian Super League title.

Bhayangkara FC believe Sibille's international experience and defensive background can make a significant difference as they prepare for the new campaign. His arrival is expected to give the team greater depth at centre-back and provide another strong option for the coaching staff when facing a demanding schedule.

Sibille now begins a new chapter in Indonesian football with high expectations surrounding his arrival. Bhayangkara FC will hope the Argentine can quickly adapt to Liga 1 and establish himself as a key figure in their defense. With his experience from Argentina, Spain and India, he is expected to help The Guardian build a more solid foundation and compete strongly throughout the 2026/27 season.
