Djed Spence Completes Inter Milan Move and Takes Number 24 Shirt

Djed Spence has officially completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Inter Milan, with the permanent transfer reportedly valued at €35 million. The English right-back is set to begin a new chapter at San Siro after Inter reached an agreement with Tottenham for a deal worth €31.5 million in fixed fees plus additional performance-related bonuses.

Spence has been brought in as a long-term replacement for Denzel Dumfries, who left Inter after five seasons to join Real Madrid earlier in the summer. His arrival is therefore part of a wider effort by the Italian club to rebuild the right side of its defense and maintain strong competition for places in that position.

The 24-year-old defender is expected to sign a five-year contract with Inter. His reported salary will be around €2.6 million per season, with potential bonuses capable of increasing his annual earnings to close to €3 million. The agreement reflects Inter's confidence in Spence as an important part of their plans for the coming years.

Spence will wear the number 24 shirt during his first season with Inter, retaining the same number he used at Tottenham last season. The number also carries some recent history at the Italian club, having previously been worn by Christian Eriksen following the midfielder's move from Tottenham to Inter in 2020.

The completion of Spence's transfer represents another significant step in Inter's summer squad overhaul. After making changes in midfield and attack, the club has now strengthened its defensive options on the right flank.
