Chelsea Sign 10, Sell 10 and Loan Out 10 Players, Spending €400m but Bringing in Nearly €450m

The Premier League summer transfer window officially closed this morning, with Chelsea selling Enzo Fernández to Manchester City at the last minute. The deal made Enzo the most expensive signing of the summer and took Chelsea's total transfer income from player sales this summer to more than €440 million.

Following the completion of the deal, Chelsea's income from player sales this summer has surpassed their spending on new signings.

Chelsea signed 10 new players this summer, including Morgan Rogers, spending a total of €404.3 million. The club also completed 10 permanent sales and 10 loan departures, meaning 20 players will leave the club for the new season. Chelsea generated €448.8 million from player sales, resulting in a total net profit of €44.5 million from their summer transfer business.
