AC Milan Complete Omari Hutchinson Signing as Attacking Midfielder Takes No. 20
AC Milan have officially completed the signing of Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal. The Rossoneri will pay €4 million for the temporary move, while the agreement includes an option to make the transfer permanent for a further €40 million at the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Hutchinson had already arrived in Milan for his medical examinations over the weekend before finalising the move. His loan agreement will run until June 30, 2027, giving the 22-year-old an opportunity to establish himself at one of Italy's biggest clubs while Milan assess whether to make his stay permanent.
The attacking midfielder will wear the No. 20 shirt at San Siro. Hutchinson began his development in the youth systems of Arsenal and Chelsea before gaining senior experience with Ipswich Town and later Nottingham Forest, who signed him in the summer of 2025.
Milan see Hutchinson as an important addition to their attacking midfield options as they prepare for the new season. His versatility and previous experience in English football are expected to provide greater depth and flexibility in the final third, while the move also gives the player a chance to take another significant step in his career.
The overall value of the deal could reach €44 million if Milan decide to activate the purchase option. Should that happen, Hutchinson would sign a permanent three-year contract with the Italian giants running until June 2030. For now, the upcoming season will be crucial in determining whether he can convince Milan to commit to a long-term partnership.
