Arsenal is working hard to secure the signing of Nypan
According to the latest report by The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, Arsenal is working hard to sign Rosenborg midfielder Nypan.

The report states that Arsenal is pushing to secure the signing of the 18-year-old Norwegian starlet. Talks between the clubs and with the player’s representatives are ongoing. However, no final decision about his future has been made, and no agreement has been reached yet.

Nypan is regarded as one of the most promising players in Europe. He made his debut in the Norwegian league in 2022 at just 15 years old. In May 2023, he became the youngest player in Rosenborg’s history to score in a league match, achieving the feat at just 16 years and 145 days old.

Since then, interest in him from top clubs across Europe has grown significantly, and competition for his signature remains fierce. However, Arsenal is currently pushing to advance and win the race.

If Arsenal signs Nypan, he will be considered for an immediate role in the first team. A creative attacking midfielder, he can operate as a No. 8 or No. 10. Arsenal maintains a good relationship with Rosenborg and is handling the pursuit of Nypan respectfully, hoping this will help them secure the deal.
Following Gabriel Jesus’ injury, Arsenal is also looking to strengthen their forward line this month. With long-term targets like Benjamin Šeško appearing difficult to acquire, they are now considering other options.
