Official: West Ham United Signs 17-Year-Old Forward Josh Landers from Hibernian

On February 9, West Ham United officially announced the signing of 17-year-old forward Josh Landers from Hibernian. He will join the club's Academy of Football and play for the West Ham U21 team.
Josh Landers signed his first professional contract with Hibernian in the summer of 2023 and made his debut in November of the same year during the Scottish League Cup semifinal against Aberdeen at Hampden Park.
Originally, Landers was set to begin a trial with West Ham last summer, but he suffered a broken arm during a Hibernian U18 match. However, he believes that his recovery period helped him better prepare for the challenge of transitioning to English football.
In January, he impressed during a two-week trial, which led West Ham to finalize his signing.
