Xavi Simons Suffers Season-Ending Injury, Set to Miss World Cup

In the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Xavi Simons was forced off due to injury. He later confirmed on his personal social media that his season is over and he will also miss the World Cup.

Simons said:
“They say life can be cruel sometimes, and today I truly felt that. My season has come to a sudden end, and I’m still trying to process it all. Honestly, I’m heartbroken. It’s really hard to accept.
All I’ve ever wanted is to give everything for the team, but now that opportunity has been taken away… the same goes for the World Cup. The chance to represent my country this summer is gone just like that. It will take time to accept everything, but I will keep doing my best to be the best teammate I can be. I have no doubt that we will win this battle together.
For the road ahead, I will be guided by belief, moving forward with strength, resilience, and confidence, waiting for the day I can return to the pitch. Please give me some time. TTP. COYS 🤍🧡”
