Manchester United Secure Massive €44 Million Windfall from Napoli Amid Hojlund Permanent Transfer

Manchester United have received a significant financial boost after Napoli activated a clause that turns Rasmus Hojlund's loan deal into a permanent transfer. The agreement, valued at around €44 million or roughly Rp900 billion, was triggered after Napoli secured qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League.

The transfer is part of a strong business relationship between the two clubs in recent years. Previous deals, including Scott McTominay's move to Naples in 2024, have strengthened the connection, with the midfielder playing a key role in Napoli's domestic success.

Hojlund was loaned to Napoli at the start of the season with a mandatory purchase clause linked to Champions League qualification. Following Napoli's 3-0 win over Pisa, the Italian side confirmed their place in the competition, automatically activating the obligation to complete the transfer.

With the deal now permanent, Hojlund has officially ended his spell at Manchester United. The striker expressed gratitude for his time in England, reflecting on his childhood dream of playing at Old Trafford while also acknowledging the support he received from fans and teammates during his stay.

His departure is expected to be part of a broader squad reshuffle at Manchester United. Several players, including Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Manuel Ugarte, and Marcus Rashford, are also linked with possible exits as the club prepares for changes in the upcoming transfer window.
