Journalist: Olise Open to Joining Real Madrid; €150m Could Be Just an Opening Bid

Spanish journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon has posted a video on his YouTube channel discussing the transfer speculation linking Real Madrid with Michael Olise. He states that the player is open to joining Madrid, but a deal would be very difficult to pull off.
In the video, the journalist said: "Firstly, according to my information, Real Madrid have had some form of contact with Olise – I'm not sure if it was directly or through intermediaries. What is certain is that Olise is aware of Real Madrid's interest; he himself knows about it. I repeat: I don't know if it was direct or indirect contact, but he is aware. And Olise is open to joining Real Madrid. I'm not saying a pre-agreement exists, but he is open to the move.
"Normally, clubs don't make a bid without first testing whether a player is open to the move. Most players would find it hard to turn down a move to Real Madrid, but submitting an offer without that assurance would be pointless. If clubs agree a fee but the player doesn't want to come, all that effort is wasted. So, Real Madrid have confirmed that Olise is open to joining.
"Florentino Pérez really admires Olise. The player made a strong impression on him during Bayern Munich's Champions League tie against Real Madrid. Bayern have not yet made an official statement, but some German sources have indicated their stance: Olise is not for sale. They have no interest in selling him. Previously, several Bayern officials have said they wouldn't sell him even for €200 million.
"Florentino Pérez's reported €150 million offer could just be an opening bid, with potentially higher offers to follow. Similarly, Bayern saying initially that they won't consider selling Olise could also be their opening stance.
"Initially, I see this transfer as very complicated. From the moment this rumour started, I thought it seemed unlikely."
