Ragnar Oratmangoen, a forward for the Indonesian national team, has officially ended his spell with Belgian club FCV Dender. The club confirmed his departure on June 9, 2026, as part of a broader squad overhaul involving multiple players whose contracts or loan agreements have expired.
During his time at Dender, Ragnar spent two seasons after joining in August 2024. In the 2025/26 campaign, he made 19 appearances across all competitions and contributed one goal. His role remained rotational, but he was considered part of the squad’s regular options throughout the season.
The decision to part ways came in the aftermath of a difficult season for the Belgian side, which failed to secure its position in the top tier. The club was relegated to the Challenger Pro League for the 2026/27 season after losing a decisive playoff battle against Lommel SK, a team featuring Indonesian midfielder Joey Pelupessy.
Alongside Ragnar, more than a dozen players also left the club as part of the transition period. The departures were framed as a natural conclusion to contracts, with the club acknowledging the collective contributions made both on and off the pitch during their time in the squad.
With his exit confirmed, speculation has already begun regarding Ragnar’s next destination. Links have emerged with Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam, while interest from Indonesian side Persija Jakarta has also been mentioned, leaving his next career move open as he becomes a free agent.
