Real Madrid CF has officially exercised its buy-back option to bring forward Angel Carvajal back from Real Valladolid. The decision follows the young striker's outstanding performances during his time with Valladolid, where he continued to develop after leaving Madrid last summer.

Although the move comes shortly after club legend Dani Carvajal departed at the end of his contract, Angel Carvajal's return is unrelated to the defensive vacancy created by the veteran's exit.
