Aston Villa Explore Move for AC Milan Left-Back Pervis Estupinan

Aston Villa are reportedly considering a move for AC Milan defender Pervis Estupinan as the Ecuador international faces an uncertain future in Italy. The experienced left-back is attracting interest after falling out of the club's long-term plans.

Estupinan joined Milan from Brighton & Hove Albion for an initial €17 million, with additional performance-related bonuses. Despite scoring his first goal for the Rossoneri in a derby against Inter earlier this year, his overall campaign fell short of expectations.

The 28-year-old made 22 competitive appearances last season, contributing one goal and one assist while also receiving a red card. His inconsistent performances have reportedly led Milan to reconsider his role ahead of the upcoming season.

With Ruben Amorim now leading the club, Estupinan is believed to be outside the manager's preferred squad. His representatives have therefore started exploring potential opportunities elsewhere as they look for a fresh start.

Aston Villa have reportedly contacted Milan to gather information about the defender's availability, asking about both his valuation and fitness status before deciding whether to pursue a formal offer. Although Estupinan remains under contract until 2030, Milan are said to be willing to consider a transfer if the right proposal arrives.
