Atlético Madrid Open to Alexander Sørloth Swap as Juventus Explore Transfer Options
Juventus are considering Atlético Madrid striker Alexander Sørloth as a potential alternative after facing difficulties in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani. While Kolo Muani remains the club's top target, the financial gap between Juventus and PSG has prompted the Italian side to explore other attacking options.
Sørloth has emerged as a strong candidate following an impressive season with Atlético Madrid. The Norwegian international is valued for his physical presence, intelligent movement, and ability to finish chances inside the penalty area, making him an attractive option to strengthen Juventus' frontline.
Atlético Madrid are reportedly willing to discuss Sørloth's departure but have placed a valuation of around €40 million on the striker. Rather than pursuing a straightforward cash transfer, the Spanish club are believed to prefer a deal involving Argentine winger Nico González, whose performances have attracted the attention of Diego Simeone.
Juventus, however, have made it clear that González will only leave if Atlético meet their financial valuation, which is believed to be between €27 million and €30 million. The Serie A club view the Argentine as an important sporting and financial asset and are unwilling to use him solely to reduce the cost of signing Sørloth.
Any potential agreement will likely depend on both clubs finding common ground regarding player valuations and transfer terms. With Juventus still assessing its attacking options, negotiations could continue in the coming weeks as the club works to reshape its squad before the new season begins.
