Persib Part Ways with Dimas Drajad After Two Seasons
Persib Bandung have officially confirmed the departure of striker Dimas Drajad following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2025/26 season. The decision brings an end to his two-year spell with the club after management and the coaching staff completed their evaluation ahead of the new campaign.
Dimas joined Persib from Persikabo before the 2024/25 season and played a role in the club's successful Liga 1 title-winning campaign. During his first year, he made 14 league appearances and scored two goals while helping the team secure another championship.
His involvement declined significantly in the following season as he struggled to earn regular playing time. As a result, he spent the campaign on loan with Malut United, where he continued his development away from Bandung.
According to the club, the decision not to extend his contract was based on technical considerations and the coaching staff's plans for the upcoming season. Persib are now focused on reshaping the squad to better fit their long-term objectives and tactical approach.
Although his time at the club has come to an end, Persib expressed appreciation for Dimas' professionalism and contribution during his stay. He leaves having been part of one of the club's successful periods, including helping the team add another Liga 1 title to its growing list of achievements.
