Inter Milan Prepare Lucrative New Deal for Francesco Pio Esposito as Contract Talks Progress
Inter Milan are moving forward with plans to secure the long-term future of Francesco Pio Esposito, with fresh details emerging about the club's proposed contract extension. While remaining active in the transfer market, the Nerazzurri are also prioritizing new agreements for several key players, beginning with one of their brightest young talents.
Negotiations have reportedly advanced following a positive meeting between club officials and Esposito's agent, Mario Giuffredi. The discussions focused on extending the striker's current contract by an additional year, reinforcing Inter's commitment to keeping him at the club for the foreseeable future.
Esposito is currently under contract until 2030 and earns around €1.1 million per season plus bonuses. Inter's latest proposal would extend the deal through 2031 while increasing his salary to approximately €3 million plus performance-related incentives. Although the player's representatives are seeking slightly improved terms, both sides remain confident that an agreement will be reached.
The young forward's strong performances over the past season have significantly boosted his value. His consistent displays earned him greater responsibilities at club level and increased opportunities with the Italy national team, strengthening his position during the negotiations. Even so, reports indicate that Esposito remains fully committed to building his future with Inter.
Once Esposito's extension is completed, Inter are expected to begin similar discussions with defender Yann Bisseck. The German center-back is also set to receive a contract running until 2031, and club officials are optimistic about reaching an agreement after the player reportedly turned down interest from Bayern Munich, demonstrating his desire to remain in Milan.
