Emil Audero's Price Slashed as Serie A Return Gains Momentum

Emil Audero is edging closer to a return to Italy's top flight after his market value dropped significantly, making him a far more affordable target for interested clubs. The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who represents Indonesia internationally and was born in Lombok, is now valued at just €3 million by Como.

The reduced valuation marks a sharp decline from the €6 million Como spent to sign him from Inter Milan two seasons ago. The lower asking price has immediately strengthened the chances of clubs looking to secure his services before the new campaign begins.

Among the teams showing the strongest interest is AC Monza, which recently earned promotion back to Serie A. Reports from Italian media indicate that the club continues to monitor Audero closely as it looks to reinforce its squad with an experienced goalkeeper capable of competing at the highest level.

Sampdoria has also emerged as a possible destination despite currently competing in Serie B. The club is believed to be open to bringing Audero back, creating another realistic option as his future remains undecided ahead of the transfer window's conclusion.

Audero remains an attractive signing thanks to his outstanding performances last season. While playing for Cremonese, he finished the 2025–26 Serie A campaign as the league's leading shot-stopper, recording 125 saves in 34 appearances. That impressive record continues to enhance his reputation despite the decline in his transfer value.
