Bayern Munich Welcome Back Kane, Olise and Upamecano Ahead of New Season

According to Bild, Bayern Munich’s three star players returned to pre-season preparations this morning, with Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano all back for their medical examinations ahead of the new campaign.

With just one week remaining before competitive action begins, the three players who participated in the World Cup first underwent physical tests before heading to Säbener Straße for fitness assessments.

From 8:00 AM onwards, Bayern’s final group of holiday returnees completed comprehensive medical checks with club doctor Professor Roland Schmidt. The examinations included lung function tests and stress electrocardiograms.

England captain Harry Kane was the first to arrive, reaching the hospital at 7:49 AM in a black Audi.

French international Dayot Upamecano followed at 8:32 AM. When reporters greeted him, the defender responded warmly from the passenger seat and gave a thumbs-up. The centre-back appeared fully prepared for the new season.



The last arrival was Michael Olise, who reached the hospital’s underground parking area at 10:45 AM wearing sunglasses. Reporters even helped the French winger collect his entry pass, and Olise responded with a simple “thank you” before heading inside.

After completing their medical tests, Olise, Kane and Upamecano could potentially take part in Vincent Kompany’s first full training session of the season later that evening.

With one week left until the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup against Borussia Dortmund at 8:30 PM on August 22, Kompany will finally have his full squad available.

Bayern will host RB Leipzig on Saturday before travelling to face Bundesliga relegation side Heidenheim on Tuesday at 6:00 PM in their final pre-season friendly.
