Persib and Persija Lead the Super League's Most Valuable Squads for 2026/2027

Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung are at the top of the Super League 2026/2027 rankings when it comes to squad market value. Persija currently holds the highest total valuation at Rp166.86 billion from 36 players, while Persib follows closely with Rp165.91 billion across 35 players. The gap is only around Rp950 million, highlighting how evenly matched the two Indonesian giants are in terms of squad value.

The picture becomes slightly different when the average market value per player is considered. Persib records approximately Rp4.74 billion per player, higher than Persija's average of around Rp4.64 billion. Persib also has five players valued above Rp10 billion, led by Thom Haye at Rp15.64 billion. Mariano Peralta, Sandy Walsh, Balsa Sekulic, and Eliano Reijnders are also part of the club's most valuable group.

Persija, meanwhile, has three players whose market values exceed Rp10 billion. Stjepan Loncar is the most valuable player in the squad at Rp20.86 billion, followed by Rizky Ridho and new signing Alexander Jeremejeff. The presence of several high-value players on both sides underlines the financial strength of the two clubs and sets up an intriguing battle ahead of the new season.

Bali United rank third with a total squad value of Rp107.07 billion, followed by Persebaya Surabaya at Rp101.25 billion. Dewa United and PSIM Yogyakarta are next with Rp84.74 billion and Rp84.30 billion respectively. Borneo FC Samarinda actually have the largest squad with 37 players, but their total market value is only Rp82.48 billion, while Garudayaksa FC have the smallest squad with 21 players worth a combined Rp61.27 billion. The figures show that squad size does not necessarily determine overall market value.

Despite their impressive valuation, Persib cannot rely on market value alone to compete for the 2026/2027 title. The Bandung side enters the campaign with confidence after winning the Dewata Challenge Series, but the real test will come once competitive matches begin, especially with their additional commitments in Asian competition. Persib and Persija may be almost level on paper, yet their true strength will ultimately be measured by consistency, results, and their ability to turn individual quality into collective success.
