Erling Haaland added another milestone to his remarkable Premier League record after scoring in Manchester City’s thrilling 5-3 victory over Sunderland. His 81st-minute strike completed a unique achievement, as Sunderland became the 25th different Premier League club he has faced with City and the final one he had yet to score against.

The match produced eight goals in an entertaining contest, with City eventually holding on after Sunderland mounted a strong fightback. Enzo Fernandez, Rayan Cherki, and Antoine Semenyo’s brace had given City control before Haaland found the net late in the game. His goal was initially ruled out for offside, but a VAR review overturned the decision and confirmed the Norwegian as the final scorer of the match.
