Calhanoglu Eyes Emotional Return as Inter Set €15M Exit Price
Hakan Calhanoglu is reportedly considering a return to his homeland, with Galatasaray emerging as a serious destination. The midfielder’s situation has drawn attention as he weighs the possibility of leaving Inter Milan despite still playing a central role in the team.
The interest from Galatasaray has grown stronger in recent weeks, fueled by the player’s long-standing desire to one day return to Turkey. The Istanbul club is said to be pushing hard to bring him in, appealing to both his personal ambitions and emotional connection to the team he supported growing up.
At the same time, Inter Milan finds itself in a delicate position. Under the guidance of Cristian Chivu, the club remains focused on its competitive goals, yet must also address uncertainty surrounding one of its key midfield figures as the season approaches its conclusion.
Although Calhanoglu is under contract until 2027, there has been little progress regarding a renewal. This has prompted Inter’s management to consider a potential sale in the upcoming transfer window, aiming to avoid the risk of losing a valuable asset without compensation in the future.
Inter has reportedly set a price tag of around €15 million, a figure that could complicate negotiations. Letting go of Calhanoglu would represent a significant tactical loss, given his creativity, vision, and ability to dictate play, all of which have made him a vital component of the team’s midfield structure.
