Space Control: JIPPO effectively utilized the half-spaces, creating overloads that stretched JaPS's defense. However, penetration into these areas could have been more frequent to exploit gaps.
Transition Moments: During transitions, JIPPO's counter-pressing was aggressive but occasionally left central areas exposed, leading to a few dangerous JaPS counter-attacks. Defensive reorganization needs to be quicker.
Opponent Weaknesses: JaPS struggled with lateral movement, often leaving wide spaces open. Quick switches of play by JIPPO caused disorganization, particularly when transitioning from defense to attack, exposing their full-backs' lack of pace.
Space Control: Our utilization of the half-spaces in the final third was commendable, creating several opportunities. However, we could have been more aggressive in penetrating these areas to stretch JIPPO's defense further.
Transition Moments: During transitions from attack to defense, our counter-pressing lacked intensity, allowing JIPPO too much time on the ball. Defensive positioning also showed gaps, particularly when tracking back, which JIPPO exploited effectively.
Opponent Weaknesses: JIPPO's defensive line struggled with quick switches of play and direct balls over the top. Their fullbacks were often caught out of position, leaving spaces behind for us to exploit, an area we should focus on in future encounters.
