Mehdi Taj Confirms Visa Concerns as Iran national football team Arrange Direct Flight to the U.S.
Mehdi Taj, president of the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran, has spoken to the media about visa issues ahead of the World Cup.

Taj said: “The United States has not issued visas to any team yet, and time is running out. We are currently arranging a charter flight so that the Iranian national team can travel directly from Turkey to the United States.”
It is understood that Iran national football team are continuing their World Cup preparations as planned. The team is currently training in Turkey and is also scheduled to play friendly matches against Poland national football team and Gambia national football team.
