Cristiano Ronaldo Pushes for Greater Transfer Control as Al-Nassr Targets Bruno Fernandes

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly playing a major role in shaping Al-Nassr’s long-term strategy by advocating for a more structured approach to the club’s transfer policy. The Portuguese star is said to believe that football decisions should be driven by technical expertise to help the club remain competitive in both domestic and continental competitions.
According to reports, Ronaldo wants the club’s sporting director, Simo, and executive director, Simedo, to be given full authority over recruitment and squad planning. His proposal aims to reduce managerial interference and allow football operations to function independently when making key transfer decisions.
The suggested changes are closely linked to Al-Nassr’s summer transfer plans. Ronaldo is believed to favor a system in which player signings and departures are based entirely on sporting considerations, ensuring the squad is built with long-term success in mind.
At the same time, Al-Nassr are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. Club officials are said to be assessing the financial requirements of a potential deal before deciding whether to move forward with formal negotiations.
Ronaldo is also believed to be encouraging his Portugal teammate to consider joining the Saudi Pro League. If the transfer is completed, Fernandes would provide additional creativity in midfield and strengthen Al-Nassr’s attacking options alongside one of football’s greatest goal scorers.
