Adhyaksa FC Rebrands as Isen Mulang FC to Represent Central Kalimantan
Adhyaksa FC has officially announced its decision to change its name to Isen Mulang FC, marking a new chapter in the club's history. The proposal has been submitted to the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) and is expected to receive formal approval during the federation's congress in August 2026.
The rebranding followed extensive discussions involving club officials and prominent figures from Central Kalimantan. Club president Eko Setyawan explained that the new identity was chosen to strengthen the club's connection with the region and establish a football team that truly reflects the pride and culture of Central Kalimantan.
The name Isen Mulang, which comes from the local language and means never give up, was selected to symbolize determination, resilience, and fighting spirit. The club hopes the new identity will inspire both the players and the local community while creating a stronger emotional bond with supporters across the province.
Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran welcomed the decision, believing the new name will become a source of regional pride and encourage the development of local football talent. The rebranding is also expected to boost enthusiasm among young players who aspire to compete at the highest level of Indonesian football.
As preparations continue for the new Super League season, which begins on September 4, the club is holding a training camp in North Jakarta. The squad is training at the Jakarta International Stadium training facilities and Ancol's football grounds, with several preseason friendly matches against Persita, Garudayaksa, and Dewa United scheduled for early August.
