Two Indonesia national team players remain without clubs as preparations for the 2026/2027 season continue following the 2026 AFF Cup. Ivar Jenner and Marselino Ferdinan were both registered as part of Indonesia's squad for the tournament while holding free-agent status. Their situations have now become a point of interest as clubs begin finalizing their squads for the upcoming campaign.

Jenner became a free agent after his short-term contract with FC Utrecht came to an end. The midfielder had only signed a deal covering the second half of the 2026 season, meaning he is now available to move to another club. Despite his experience playing in Europe and his role with the Indonesian national team, Jenner has yet to announce his next destination.

Marselino is in a similar situation after his contract with Oxford United expired in June. There has been no confirmation of a new agreement between the English club and the Indonesian international. Marselino is currently in Indonesia after focusing on his recovery from an injury suffered before the AFF Cup, which has also affected his preparations for the new season.

Both players have recently been linked with a possible move to Persija Jakarta. The Jakarta-based club is reportedly interested in strengthening its squad with the addition of Jenner and Marselino. Their previous relationship with Shin Tae-yong could also become an important factor, as the two players previously featured prominently under the South Korean coach during his time in charge of Indonesia.

However, the possibility of Jenner and Marselino joining Persija remains only a rumor for now. The club has not officially commented on the speculation, while representatives of the players have also yet to provide confirmation. With the new season approaching, both Indonesians will be looking to secure their futures soon, particularly as they remain among the national team players without clubs after the AFF Cup.
